Golden Cold Relief Tea

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 inch fresh ginger root (sliced thin)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey
  • Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place sliced ginger in a cup
  2. Pour hot (not boiling) water over ginger
  3. Cover and steep for 5-10 minutes
  4. Strain out ginger pieces
  5. Add lemon juice and honey
  6. Stir well and sip while warm

Best Consumed: At first sign of cold symptoms, 2-3 times daily
