Golden Cold Relief Tea
Prep Time: 5 minutes | Serves: 1
Ingredients:
- 1 inch fresh ginger root (sliced thin)
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon raw honey
- Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions:
- Place sliced ginger in a cup
- Pour hot (not boiling) water over ginger
- Cover and steep for 5-10 minutes
- Strain out ginger pieces
- Add lemon juice and honey
- Stir well and sip while warm
Best Consumed: At first sign of cold symptoms, 2-3 times daily
